"Paul comes from nothing, this is hard to conceptualise, literally nothing, and he has worked his way toward success with the humble heart and kind soul."
Paul's career originates from Surfers Corner, Muizenberg, South Africa. He grew up on the streets and took up surfing to avoid criminalism, gangsterism and any other negatively connotated word that ends in trouble. Growing up in an underprivileged area of South Africa [where this is all too common] we deeply admire Pauls drive and commitment to getting off the streets, we wholeheartedly support Pauls cause - to go big in the surfing industry. He wants to inspire kids from his same humble beginnings so that they can do the same. Because of South Africa's past [Apartheid and segregation] African kids lack the opportunity and resources [due to their predisposition] to make it big in any way, and when they do its hard to appreciate how much more effort it takes to make it from the streets. Don't be mistaken by Pauls raw talent for busting airs and ripping into open faces. Paul comes from nothing, this is hard to conceptualise, literally nothing, and he has worked his way toward success with the humble heart and kind soul. We are supporting Paul in every way that we can and if you would like to contribute towards his success then please head over to our shop and donate to his cause. All the proceedings will go directly to Paul where he may use it to take a taxi to the beach, enter comps, buy a new board when it breaks, feed himself or his family or whatever he may require to help get him onto a level playing field with his competitors.
